There has been some changes to the 2019-20 season.
export air cargo security is changing - efective 01st march 2019
All export air cargo regardless of the destination will need to be examined at a piece-level or originate from a Known Consignor. This change is necessary to ensure that Australia is responding to the evolving terrorist threat.
IMO 2020
On January 01st, 2020 the International Maritime Organisation (IMO) will enforce a new emissions standard from the present 3.5% to 0.5% sulphur cap. This step is to reduce the pollution footprint of shipping globally, however carriers and related parties are acting now to meet the IMO requirements.
How will IMO2020 affect exporters/importers?
INCOTERMS 2020
The new Incoterms 2020 are currently being drafted and there are some proposed changes, these will be issued and published in Q4 of 2019 and would take effect from January 01st 2020.
